Emma ignites her Art and Design skills when formulating her creative work. She utilises anything and everything to draw upon her inspiration; from historical to contemporary references, the natural word, sculpture, textural/expressionistic abstract art pieces and more. Her work underpins and demonstrates her working skills and knowledge of the Creative Arts.
Emma believes in and understands the skill of using initiative, willingness, integrity, observational learning and values the importance of completing any task to the highest of standards. Paired with a wide range of skill sets, Emma holds versatility and adaptability when working within a professional environment from Film, TV, Commercial, Fashion and Editorial.

Art and Design has been at the forefront of Emma’s education pathway, she never misses the fine details which may not always be seen to others. Emma is willing and eager to tackle opportunity, to take risks and create an element of surprise. THE UNDOING OF PERFECTION.

In 2020, her efforts were recognised after the completion of her A-Levels (including fine art and photography) winning the ‘Creative Excellence in Visual Art Award’ awarded by Runshaw college. Not only did this represent her technical ability, it reflected the hard work and dedication she applied to her studies which she has carried through to her degree – BA (Hons) Makeup and Hair Design at Solent University.

In 2022, Emma worked as a Hair and Makeup artist on a student short film ‘The Callback Film’, carrying out makeup checks and continuity documentation. Written and directed by rising talent Zsófi Bujáki.
Kitty Pilcher, Production designer for ‘The Callback Film’ writes ‘Emma was a great help when doing the hair & makeup for The Callback short film. She was a pleasure to work with and worked efficiently, I will definitely be contacting her for my next project!’.
